This is where you’ll find everything you need to stay up-to-date with the Lingo Project
Lingo News -
YEAR 2 of the Lingo Project is in well underway this fall! Our mission is to serve newcomers to the United States by helping them navigate the challenges of adapting to a new culture. We have an exciting announcement from one of our founders about growth and expansion happening right now:
“I am so excited to announce that we have officially launched our English language classes at Whitehall through our new partnership with New Life Church. Our new site is following the original structure of The Lingo Project created in Columbus Bilingual Academy North in 2023. Now we get to send volunteers trained and equipped to serve in Whitehall with the desire of seeing lives being transformed by Jesus.
New Life Church is allowing us to use their facility to serve the community through offering English classes on Mondays and Wednesdays!
With your help, we’re not just teaching a language—we’re building bridges and creating a sense of belonging for those starting anew in the U.S.
We invite you to visit our new location and see the impact of your generosity firsthand.
Thank you for being a part of the Lingo Project family!

We are so excited to see how the Lord is going to use TWO locations of the Lingo Project now! This is only possible because of amazing volunteers like Jennifer. Below she shares her passion about serving in a Lingo Project classroom as a teacher.
“Joining the Lingo Project has completely changed not just my life, but the students that come every day. These students are so determined to break the language barriers that are very present in the United States, and being able to grow with them has been an absolute honor.”
What is your favorite part about volunteering at the Lingo Project?
“My favorite part of volunteering at the Lingo Project is being able to teach English to my students while they help me improve my Spanish. Every single day I walk into my classroom I am constantly reminded that being bilingual is such a gift from God, and the Lingo Project has helped me embrace that. Growing strong friendships with other volunteers and my students has really been my favorite part of being part of this community!”

As we transition to two locations we are beginning to plan to hire our first employee! With the demands of being multi-site as an organization, this will allow us to sustain the growth and continue to bring quality English classes and community at every location. Your giving will go towards this effort of expanding our team. Thank you in advance for your partnership in this!

Most importantly, will you join us in praying for every family and volunteer a part of the Lingo Project? We are building relationships, sharing the gospel and seeing life change happen within the classes and community here. Please pray for us as we adjust to two locations (North Linden and Whitehall) and serve new students and families.
We are so grateful for your support!
